Set in the 1930s It is about a blonde English girl who is suddenly transported back into the Harem at Topkapi Palace in the year 1908 just before the fall of the Ottoman Empire. She is, in actual fact, of Albanian background and learns much about her heritage whilst becoming servant to a beautiful Circassian favourite of the last ruling sultan.</p>
